From handle to full report in under a minute.
- 1Type an Instagram handle (with or without @) into the search box on the homepage.
- 2If a recent report already exists it opens instantly — free and unlimited.
- 3Otherwise Instapect fetches the public profile and latest posts, then scores them. This uses one scan from your allowance.
- 4Read the report on screen, share the link, or download the PDF.
Opening a report that already exists — yours or anyone else's — never uses a scan.
When an audit can't run
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Private account | Only public profiles can be audited. |
| Not found | The handle doesn't exist or was removed. |
| No posts | The profile is public but has nothing published yet. |
| Temporarily unavailable | Our data source is busy. Nothing was charged — try again shortly. |
